B is for Bunting - and lots of it too!

It seems a while ago since the Devon County Show, the Addington Fund and our huge knot of knitters smashed the Guinness World Record for the longest knitted bunting. Almost 80,000 fabulous flags stretching over 14 kilometres!
With the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee street parties, festivals and wedding season just around the corner, what better time to put our beautiful bunting to good use.
Whether it’s for personal or work use, the bunting will be up for grabs in bulk batches from April 2022 but at this stage we’re simply looking for expressions of interest. Due to logistical challenges we need to dispatch the bunting in bulk batches (ballpark quantities available can be communicated in March).

The Addington Fund will contact you to confirm details and logistics before the end of March.
Please note, the bunting was knitted from people all over the UK so every single flag is unique and individual, no part of the bunting is the same therefore we can’t guarantee what kind of pattern, shape and size you’ll get, so here’s to embracing the diversity!

We managed to cut and bag up fantastic 5 kilometres of bunting over the “Bunting Weekender” on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd April, with the help of the Devon Young Farmers and the Devon WI.
